The Confident Speaker
Public Speaking Coach

Elevate your speaking skills with expert coaching

William Ludwig, public speaking coach

Every speech tells a story.

I am William Ludwig - a London-based actor, singer, and certified voice and communication coach with decades of experience performing on stage and screen.

I help professionals, creatives, and mission-driven individuals from all walks of life develop a powerful, authentic speaking voice rooted in story, purpose, and presence.

With a certificate in Finding Your Professional Voice and a lifelong career in live performance, I bring a unique blend of vocal and physical technique, storytelling craft, and emotional intelligence to my coaching practice. My focus is not only on how you speak - but why you speak. I believe in ethical, values-driven communication that engages audiences, builds trust, and leaves a lasting impact.

Whether you are preparing for a keynote speech, pitching your creative work, or sharing your story with the world, I will help you do it with confidence, clarity, and authenticity.

I work with artists, performers, and professionals in the cultural, creative and charity sectors - people who care deeply about their message and how it is delivered and who work towards equality and inclusion.  People who want to make the world a better place.  Together, we will find the voice that feels most true to you.

Born in Germany, I trained in acting and singing in both Germany and London.

My theatre work includes Hedda Gabler, Loyalties, and the immersive play In the Beginning Was the End at Somerset House. In 2018, I played Colonel Pickering in My Fair Lady at the Luisenburg Festival in Germany, and in 2020 I joined the Royal Opera House’s production of Fidelio.

As a MAC-Award-winning cabaret and concert artist, I’ve performed widely across Europe and the US, with acclaimed appearances at the Munich Philharmonie, Grec Festival in Barcelona, Café Sabarsky in New York, Edinburgh Festival, London’s Crazy Coqs, and the Barbican Art Gallery, and my performances have reached audiences including Bono and Chris Martin.

On screen, credits include Another Mother’s Son, Dancing in the Ashes (BAFTA-winning), FBI International (CBS), Riches (ITV), Masters of the Air (Spielberg), and the BBC’s Famous Five.

Services

Empowerment Through Coaching

As a performing artist myself, I set out to honour authenticity, inclusivity, and creative expression, rather than formulaic or manipulative speaking strategies.

We will focus on alignment, voice, tension and habits, breath, confidence, and impact, to find your professional voice.

Coaching is my passion - I offer sessions in English and German, both in person and online.
